Resolved Question: When you are confirmed do you invoke a spirit?

Aside from the Holy Spirit of course. I have asked before and gotten the response "no, you just receive a helper in heaven..."...well that is the same thing as a spirit guide. There is NO difference. When I was confirmed I received the name Rose, after Saint Rose of Lima. Also, when I received the Eucharist I received the name Catherine after Saint Catherine of Sienna. I was Confirmed in a Basilica Cathedral by an Archbishop, so don't try to tell me I must not be Catholic...for I am. Well, was at the time.
